spring!

April 2013

The photo above is the new field after the second tilling...beautiful, right?!  Paul and I are very excited by the opportunities this new space offers us.  After months of planning, we're so close to getting things in the ground here.  The field in Waccabuc is looking good too; garlic is up, peas are up, kale will go in next weekend.

I'm also thrilled to report that we have AWESOME greenhouse space at Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarrytown!  Behind the giant ornate one are some propagating greenhouses.  One has been used by the Garden Club of Irvington for years but the other, larger one has been dormant for at least 5 years.  It needs some work but enough of it is solid so that we could get the season started.  Over the summer and fall, we'll be rehabbing it.  We're extremely grateful to the folks at Lyndhurst for welcoming us and look forward to a long relationship with them.

More as the season progresses!
